Camera Requirements for Fashion Photographers:
You will need an SLR camera to part take in this course, arrangements can be made to hire cameras if you don’t own one, please ask when booking.
Sony Alpha Users
Please bring along a hot shoe adaptor to connect your cameras to the studio flash sync cable, or bring along a Sony flash gun that has manual control. All other manufactures cameras do not need this.
Lens Choice
You will need a lens that will allow you to crop to head and shoulders, we recommend a lens in the focal length of 70-200mm for this. You will also be capturing half length and full length poses for this you would need a 24-70mm (Full frame) or 18-55mm (APS size) lens, or 18-105mm, or 18 -135mm, or 18-300mm, or 18-250mm.
Additional Equipment
If you have a flash meter, wireless flash triggering system or speed light flash gun please bring these along with you. We can set up your speed light to trigger the studio lights. Laptop and tripod, etc... can be carried with you if you prefer it.

This course will teach you about the full range of studio equipments and how to use it correctly with a hands-on learning approach. The course will cover mainly the main aspects of studio settings for Fashion / Modelling / Glamour photography such as light metering, lighting, composition, styling, posing, etc.
The course will cover the practice session with models and products in the studio and outdoor which will explore lighting techniques and modifiers in more depth. You will learn how to setup and use studio lighting in both high key (white) and low key (black) situations. You will explore the basic use of light modifiers such as soft boxes, barn doors, grids, umbrellas and reflectors to create different styles of photographs. Fill this form and send it back to The Director, along with form you need to submit one attested copy each of your id-address proof and the certificate of your latest passed out exam.
