The reputation of PIHM is also due to its strong commitment in employing high qualified and experienced faculty and professional instructors. PIHM has 15 full-time faculty and 5 part-time faculty who are constantly work closely with Parents, Management and Students for an overall development of student performance in terms of his/her communication, attitude, knowledge and skills.

Our faculty members are all very well experienced at HOD level in reputed organisations in hospitality sector. We believe in, selecting our faculty not just based on the experience they possess in the industry but along with right attitude and ability to teach, train and transform a student. One who can understand a student psychology and mould him professionally into a quality human resource to industry.

Mr. T. Chandra Mohan (Academic Head)

Known for best student centric teaching deliverance methodology, imparting effective practical learning techniques abreast with hospitality industry, Motivating with an ability to achieve the goals, an instrument for developing F&B traits and possessing best teaching ability

Qualification : BHM&CT, ADST, MBA (HR), M.PHIL (BUSINESS ADMIN.)

Areas of Specialisation : Food & Beverage Service, Management, Front Office

Experience : 12 Years

Achievements :

  • Worked as a resourceful hospitality trainer for Frankfinn Institute of Airhostess Training, Hyderabad.

  • Played a vital role for the achievement of Excellence in Education awarded by Department of Tourism, Andhra Pradesh

  • Placed Final Year students at renowned & reputed organisations across Pan India at various levels.

An active member for securing prizes and accolades in inter & intra-college competitions clustered with extra Curricular activities.

Ms. Arpana Mathur (HOD - Front Office)

She is an icon/role model for all the students to look upto. Students remain inspired, motivated and a learning attitude is created, which is crucial for the success of any student. She believes in going that extra mile to create a great level of enthusiasm in the student. Apart from Front Office Subject, she also imparts Communication and soft skills essential for hospitality professional.

Qualification : DCFTA, B. A, 3 credits from AHMA (American Hotel & Motel Association)

Areas of Specialisation : Front Office & Soft Skills

Experience : 14 years

Achievements:

  • Played a vital role for the achievement of Excellence in Education awarded by Department of Tourism, Andhra Pradesh

  • Organised many State Level Cultural and Literary events in the institute

  • Trained students for Inter college Competitions to win accolades and prizes

Mr. Ram Kumar (HOD – F&B Service and Placement Officer)

Started his journey with Hotel Viceroy and proved to be a “Best Employee” in terms of his professionalism, dedication and customer orientation wherever he is associated in hotel industry. Having decided to give back the success to the society, he has joined the academics as Food & Beverage Service Trainer and also serving as a Placements Head. He is the sole reason behind our 100% successful placements and training opportunities, through his excellent motivating skills and PR.

Qualification : DHM&CT, MSc Hotel Management

Areas of Specialisation : Food & Beverage Service, Management

Experience : 9 Years

Achievements :

  • Apart from the Placements and Training Opportunities feat, he has

  • Worked as Restaurant Manager for Hotel Minerva Grand and established a multi cuisine restaurant named Bleu.

  • Played an active role to develop and strengthen the relationship with the hospitality industry for placing the students in various hotels.

  • Organized sessions like orientation programs, grooming sessions, mock interview for all students.

  • Trained and motivated students in attending cocktail and mocktail competitions.

Chef Nitin Prakash. S (HOD – Food Production)

Known for his Innovativeness, immense knowledge on F&B industry, Great teaching ability and Culinary Skills

Qualification : PGDM/MBA – Finance & Operations from IPE, Hyd.
B. Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHMCT&AN, Hyd.
Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management from MITH, Melbourne

Areas of Specialisation : Food Production, Bakery & Confectionery, Finance

Experience : 7 years

Achievements :

  • Worked as a CHEF in Crown Casino, Melbourne – The 3rd largest Casino in the world and many other Restaurants and Cafes in India and Abroad

  • Served many celebrities like Cricketers, Film Actors, VIPs etc.

  • Participated in many National Level and State Level Chef Competitions and won awards and accolades

  • Been as a “Chef Judge” to various Cookery Competitions

  • Hosted Cookery Shows in Popular TV Channels

  • Trained students for Competitions and Specialised Jobs for catering VIPs

Chef Naveen Kumar. G

Started as an F&B Associate with The Best Western - Amrutha Castle, Hyderabad, he brings in a lot of experience and practical, commercial cooking techniques which he has gained from many star hotels. He is a great resource of knowledge with an equal sense of responsibility towards the students.

Qualification : BHM&CT, MBA

Areas of Specialisation : Indian Regional Cuisines (Q.T.K), Hotel Engineering and Maintenance

Experience : 6 Years

Achievements:

  • Trained students to present various Indian Regional Cuisines.

  • Conducted food festivals and competitions

  • Trained students to achieve 1st prize winner for Pot Cookery competition at Shilparamam conducted by Tourism Department, Govt. of AP State

  • Hosted Cookery Shows, “WHAT A TASTE” program in Vanitha T.V channel.

Ms. Vanaja Rani (HOD – Accommodation Operations)

Known for her motherly nature, warmth and affection towards the students, they find her as a perfect guide and a person to approach for any kind of problems. She is our HOD for Housekeeping Department with more than 2 decades of experience in various categories of star hotels and other hospitality establishments.

Qualification : B. Com, Diploma in Catering Mgt. & Food Technology, PGDCA

Areas of Specialisation : Accommodation Operations, Hygiene and Sanitation

Experience : 23 years
