Course Objectives: To develop customer care associates with practical knowledge of implementation and supervision of the retail facility in large-scale malls and commercial organizations. The course will help build competencies in the various verticals associated with the Retail industry and equip the learner with personality traits to become a successful Customer Care Associate.
Brief description of the course: The course consists of 3 months of 9 instructional classroom and laboratory modules with general competencies and specific competencies to be developed under the structured series of on-the-job training of 3 months at existing retail stores. The student will be assessed for written, oral and practical examinations and performance based on site.
There is also an additional module that will help develop the communication and soft skills of the candidate, which is a prerequisite for success as a Customer Care Associate. Also, the candidate will be made proficient in computer fundamentals and necessary software used in this industry.
Qualifying Standard: Unless and until the student’s attendance is 75% for instruction modules and 85% for in plant training, the student will not be eligible to appear for examination. The student who secure not less 50% marks in each module will be declared as passed in the instruction module together with theory and practical where ever is applicable. The student who secure not less 50% marks in each in plant training session will be declared as successfully completed the in plant training i.e. passed the in plant training.
The student who fails in one or more instructional module/s will have to appear the concerned subjects in the next phase examination. However such student will be promoted to the next phase. If the student yet fails then he or she will be declared unsuccessful in the said program.
