ITLS is accepted internationally as the standard training course for Pre Hospital trauma care. ITLS courses combine classroom learning and hands-on skill stations to give almost real experience. They also challenge the participant with scenario assessment stations where learning is with the simulated trauma situations. ITLS courses are designed, managed, and delivered by Course Directors, coordinators, and instructors experienced in EMS, Pre Hospital care, and the ITLS approach.
Intended Audience
The program is aimed at Personnel staffing emergency, intensive care or critical care departments; emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other professionals who may respond to a traumatic emergency
Course Length - 16 hours
Hands-on stations include

Patient assessment and management

Basic and advanced airway management

Needle chest decompression and fluid resuscitation

Spinal motion restriction including rapid extrication, helmet removal, log-roll, and long/backboard/scoop stretcher utilization

Extremity immobilization and traction splint application
Student Materials
ITLS Card - On course completion valid globally.
Written / Skills Exam - Required for completion card.
