A mock / preliminary exam enabling candidates to cultivate non-stop writing practice for exams.

To analyze the level and extent of knowledge and level of understanding of the subject.

Error-spotting at an early stage through feedback provided on the answer sheets and a brief write up to be circulated to all candidates about the examiner’s comments on the performance of the candidates’ question-wise.

Type of questions which would be covered is objective and subjective questions. Objective questions would include fill in the blanks, true or false, match the following, answer in one word, answer in one sentence and multiple choice questions. Subjective questions would range from small, medium and essay type questions.

Model answers booklets would help candidates in observing and learning presentation styles as per the standards of the ICSI Examination.

What makes GOLS-ICSI Examination Preparatory different?
After the assessment of answer booklets of the candidates there would be LVC (Live Virtual Classroom Sessions) which would be an open platform wherein the students can raise their individual queries to the examiner.
General Instructions :

GOLS Exam preparatory Question papers would be uploaded under student login / sent to registered students at their email ids.

The question papers would be according to ICSI examination pattern

Marks allocation of the questions is akin to ICSI marks allocation pattern

Students may submit the answer sheets in hardcopy or may upload the soft copy of the written answer sheets.

The Answer sheets would be sent to GOLS approved CS faculties for the evaluation and feedback

The Faculties will evaluate and mark comments both student specific and in general
-
The evaluation result of both marks obtained and comments would be communicated to students. The communication of the marks and comments may be through email or by post of the answer sheet which will be at the discretion of the GOLS. Students are however advised to keep a copy of the submitted answer sheets which may be required in the event of lost of post.

GOLS will ensure the timely communication of the feedback to the students, however there may be inevitable delay of communication of the faculty’s feedback where the latter may be communicated even after the commencement of LVC sessions.

The LVC sessions are for the purpose of doubt clearing sessions specific to the question papers and answers. The students are expected to take full advantage of each and such sessions and are encouraged to communicate with the faculty to get the doubts cleared and take tips to pass the examinations with flying colors.
Note: GOLS will conduct Mock exam 1 or 2 months before ICSI exams.

Admission Process
To register for ICSI e-Learning Coaching Program kindly follow the below given process:

Student need to register first with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Delhi, either for Foundation, Executive or Professional program.

After successful registration for either of program; student will be issued be with CS registration number.

Student should possess valid CS registration number for taking admission to ICSI e-Learning coaching Program.

The Institute Of Company Secretaries Of India
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) is constituted under an Act of Parliament i.e. the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (Act No. 56 of 1980). ICSI is the only recognized professional body in India to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries in India. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India awards the certificate of bestowing the designation of Company Secretary(CS) to a candidate qualifying for the membership of the Institute. It was in 1960 that the Company Law Board started a course in Company Secretaryship leading to the award of Government Diploma in Company Secretaryship. As the number of students taking up the Company Secretaryship course grew, the Government promoted on 4th October, 1968, Institute of Company Secretaries of India under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 for taking over from the Government the conduct of Company Secretaryship examination. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has since been converted into a statutory body w.e.f. 1.1.1981 under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) has on its rolls 27,313 members including 5,225 members holding certificate of the practice. The number of current students is over 3,60,000.
The Institute of company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has its headquarters at New Delhi and four regional offices at New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai. The Institute has four Regional Councils and under their jurisdiction 70 Chapters as provided in the link below:
ICSI Organisation Structure
Membership of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) has been recognized for appointment to various superior posts and services under the Central Government.
The affairs of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) are managed by a Council consisting of fifteen elected members and five nominees of the Central Government. Pursuant to section 383A of the Companies Act, 1956, companies having a paid -up share capital of Rs 5 crore or more, as prescribed by the Central Government, are statutorily required to appoint a whole-time Company Secretary.
The major contribution of Company Secretary (CS) is in corporate sector. Company Secretary (CS) is an important professional aiding the efficient management of the corporate sector. Company Secretary (CS) is designated as an officer under the Companies Act. Company Secretary (CS) has to interact, coordinate, integrate and cooperate with various other functional heads in a company. A member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI) may also practise independently as a professional after obtaining a certificate of practice as provided in the Company Secretaries Act,1980.

Interactivity will be established by modules such as Discussion forum and online chat. After the proposed virtual classroom facility under elearning portal. Undergoing of elearning is in addition and not in substitution to compulsory postal tution. elearning is designed to provide a virtual contact between the teacher and the student.
