This is a Six Month Diploma course offered in Distance Learning mode. The program is divided into two trimesters. Applicants can complete the program in minimum of six months and maximum of one year.

Course Material
Specially designed course material is couriered to the applicants along with audio-video learning CD's for every subject within a maximum period of 10 days from the date of registration.

Teaching Material

Study material provided for all subjects at the beginning of the program.

Audio video learning CD is given for all subjects. These CD's contain 10-15 hours of audio video learning for every subject along with a number of practice tests.

E-learning toolkit is provided for every subject. Through this web based toolkit, student can refer summary, power point presentation and practice test for each and every chapter of all the subjects.

Students will be evaluated at regular intervals through online trimester exam. Welingkar will dispatch the study material to the students on their correspondence addresses for the entire course.

Students are regularly communicated through notices on our website about various matters like time table, guidelines etc. Students are requested to regularly visit the website to get the latest notices. Major communication is also made through letter, email as well as through SMSes.
Experiential Learning
As a special feature, all students of Diploma in Banking will be going through a soft skills development program through Experiential Learning Methodology. Students are invited for two days on Saturday and Sunday at Mumbai campus for this workshop at no additional cost. Click here to view demo

Admission Process, Fee Payments and Refunds Detail
Admissions are open throughout the year. There are four batches in a year - January, April, July and October.

Cost of Application form is Rs.300/- in person by cash or Rs. 350/- by post through demand draft. The DD should be made payable to 'Welingkar Institute of Management' at Mumbai and sent at the given address.

Fee Structure

The entire program fees are Rs. 12000/- to be paid in full at the time of admission.

Course fees are inclusive of exam fees. However, for subjects, which are not cleared during the trimester or subjects for which students do not appear for exam, will carry additional exam fees of Rs. 400/- per subject.

All fees are payable either in cash (at the Welingkar counter) or by local cheque / demand draft drawn in favour of 'Welingkar Institute of Management' payable at Mumbai. No outstation cheques will be accepted.
Cancellation of Admission
You can cancel your admission within 30 days from the date of your registration by forwarding a written application to the institute and returning your ID card and study material.
Refund of Fees
Rs. 2000/- would be deducted and the balance course fees would be refunded to the student within a period of maximum 60 days from the date of request for cancellation of refund. There will be no refund of course fees after 30 days for any mode of payment (i.e. one time payment of the entire fees).
Fees for International Students

The program fees for 6 months amounts to US $ 500. The entire amount has to be paid at the time of enrolment itself.

The program fee includes cost of study materials and examination fees.

All the course material will be couriered to the students' international address. In case the student fails, needs or wishes to reappear for the exam/assignments, then a flat additional fee of US $25 per trimester is payable irrespective of the number of subjects / assignments the student wishes to appear.
