Bollywood is the informal name given to the popular mumbai-based Film industry in India. The dancing in Bollywood films, especially older ones, is primarily modeled on Indian dance: classical dance styles, dances of historic northern Indian courtesans (tawaif), or folk dances. In modern films, Indian dance elements often blend with Western dance styles (as seen on MTV or in Broadway musicals), though it is not unusual to see Western pop and pure classical dance numbers side by side in the same film. The hero or heroine will often perform with a troupe of supporting dancers, usually of the same sex. Due to the popularity of tis dance style a new dance form called Bollywood dancing emerged & is highly accepted by the masses & classes.

Rahul Saxenna's Dance Connection
Rahul Saxenna has carved a niche for himself in the world of entertainment as an accomplished artistic director, educator, choreographer and dancer. He has been a pivotal figure in the dance world for over fifteen years.
He began his career with a certified acting course with Prof. Roshan Taneja and soon was selected by Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited as one of the top ten male finalists in India, through the Talent Hunt Search. In the same year, renowned producer and director Mr. T. Rajendra spotted his talent and completed a South Indian Movie “MONISHA” with him in a lead role.
For him, “Dancing is a form of artistic expression allowing an individual to be in touch with his inner self.” This propelled him to learn various other dance forms. Having specialized in various Latin American dance forms by now his hobby saw a new face. He then bridged the gap between Latin American dance forms and the conventional Indian dance forms, bringing both the audiences together. He founded and saw the formal incorporation of a western dance institute, now popularly known as RSDC. Since then there has been no looking back for him. From the time of the establishment of the institute, till date, he has trained more than 15,000 students.
With the Vision to broaden his horizons Mr. Rahul Saxenna has cut a music album in which he has also rendered his voice, another natural gift bestowed upon him by the almighty god. The video has been made to promote the likes of Latin American Salsa, Break Dance and Hip-Hop moves blended with Bollywood Dances which has never been showcased in any Indian Music Video ever before.
